In Suriname detained 119 protesting, crushed parliament

The police of Suriname detained at least 119 participants of a protest which passed on February 18 in the country capital — Paramaribo. The Flemish newspaper Het Nieuwsblad reports about it with reference to data of law enforcement agencies. According to the chief of police Ruben Kensen, 37 from demonstrators now are in custody. As it is specified in material, protest action in which thousands people took part, included parliament storm. Participants of meeting suited there a fire, destroyed a lobby of buildings.
