Cats and babies: thousand-year mummies in the Turkish Province of Aksaray

Mummies of cats, babies and adults in Province of Aksaray which is gate to Cappadocia with its historical cultural riches and it is known as a pioneer settlement in Region of Central Anatolia, museums where they are exposed fascinate visitors. In Aksarayskom museum where there is the first and only to Turkey department of mummies, it is exposed in total 13 mummies consisting of cats, babies and adults of 10, 11 and 12 centuries found at excavation in Province of Aksaray and its vicinities.
