A chapel Saint Vologodsky Gerasim in Vologda decorated two more mosaic icons

In 1147 Saint Vologodsky Gerasim who founded the city. This year from the date of the basis Vologda passed 875 years. On a place of burial sacred in a consequence Vologodsky Gerasim built a chapel. The temple is established on Burmaginykh Street. Believing residents of Vologda helped with restoration of a chapel. In the summer on a task established the first mosaic icon. On it Saint Vologodsky Gerasim is represented. Now the temple is decorated by two more – with images of the prelate Milostivy Ioann, the patriarch Aleksandriysky and the Vernicle.
