50 years ago, on September 28, 1972, the first hockey superseries between teams of the USSR and Canada came to the end. In total eight matches from which three were won by the Soviet athletes, were played four — transatlantic. One meeting came to the end in a draw. Heroes of a superseries — in a photo gallery newspaper "Kommersant". Kharlamov Valery, left extreme forward of USSR national team, double Olympic champion and eightfold world champion. Participated in 7 of 8 games of a superseries, scored 3 and gave 5 goal passes. It was recognized as one of the best players of the Soviet national team.
