In the northwest of Taiwan tremors measuring 4,3 were recorded on July 25. The seismological service of the island reports about it. Epicenter of an earthquake settled down in 20 kilometers to the southeast from the city Miaoli, being an administrative center of the district. The center of tremors lay at a depth of 5,7 kilometers. It is noted that tremors also were felt in Xinzhu's neighboring Hsinchu County, being a place of concentration of the majority of factories on release of semiconductors.
