As of April 25 the Chinese-Laotian iron road transported more than 440 000 tons of freights after opening of seven cargo stations between the capital Laos Vyentyan and Luangnamtkh's Province of Louang Namtha, reports on May 4 information agency "Sinkhua". The local newspaper Vientiane Times quoted the deputy chief engineer of the Chinese-Laotian railway companies Vongtkhonga Sufantonga who has declared that for the last weeks freght traffics considerably increased.
