OMV AG wrote off €2 billion assets because of Severny potok-2 and operations with Russian Federation

The Austrian oil and gas OMV AG for the first three months 2022 wrote off assets almost for €2 billion because of loss of the income on Severny potok-2 and operations with Russian Federation, is reported on an organization site. In OMV AG noted that nearly a half of means fell on losses of the income according to the project Severny potok-2 from the general share. Because of the Russian countersanctions of OMV AG lost opportunity to receive dividends from joint with PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "GAZPROM" the project on development the Southern Russian field — "Severneftegazprom" in which company owns a share in 24,99%.
