Epicenter of a seismoevent was in 58 kilometers from municipality Bayabas (Province of Surigao del Sur) in whom live 8,9 thousand people. The center lay at a depth of 11 kilometers. Besides, at municipality Bayabas six more earthquakes measuring up to 3,3 are recorded. Since April 3 in this area over 50 tremors measuring up to 5,6 were registered.
