The fivefold Olympic champion in biathlon Marten Furkad is elected the member of International Olympic Committee). It it was declared at the 139th session of International Olympic Committee which took place today in Beijing, reports information agency "ITAR-TASS". Marten Furkad and the Swedish mountain skier Frida Khansdotter received membership as representatives of the commission of athletes of International Olympic Committee in which they were chosen by the decision of the athletes participating in the Olympic Games-2022 in Beijing.
