The New Zealand fristaylist Porteus Nikita won a gold medal in competition in halfpipe at Winter Olympic Games which take place in Beijing. For the best attempt in the final Porteus Nikita got 93,00 points that allowed it to win first place. The silver medal was won by the winner Igr to Sochi and Pyeongchang David Uayz (90,75). The bronze award was received by the American Ferreyra Alex (86,75).
