Government of the Russian Federation intends to create a new encyclopedic Internet site on the basis of the Russian scientific encyclopedias, including the Big Russian encyclopedia. The corresponding order is published on the official Internet portal of legal information. According to the document signed by the prime minister Dmitry Medvedev of August 25, for creation of "a national scientific and educational interactive encyclopedic portal" are supposed to create the special interdepartmental working group.
