To Kostroma Region the stock "Fir-tree of Desires" started. The action takes place annually in support of orphan children, children without parental support, children with limited opportunities of health and children from needy families. To Kostroma Region start to actions was given by the governor Sergei Konstantinovich Sitnikov.
