The Russian fristaylist Sergei Ridzik won a victory in ski cross at the World Cup stage in Sikret Garden (Beijing, China). Throughout almost all distance in the final the Frenchman Bastien Midol whom Sergei Ridzik outstripped on a home straight was in the lead.
