The water level in the Kuibyshev reservoir is 2 meters lower than last year's marks

According to regional hydrometeorological center, the majority of the rivers in Ulyanovsk Region were exempted from ice, a hydrological situation in norm. For the past days the water level in the Kuibyshev reservoir increased by 6-8 centimeters and is on marks 50.97 – 50.98 meters of BS that on 202-203 centimeters below last year's values. On the water area of a reservoir the ice cover collapses, ice-holes are observed. Water levels in the small rivers significantly did not change, on Big Cheremshana an ice drift.
