Heroes of our war: feat in hand-to-hand fight in Lithuania

Yevdokimov Vladimir (1923−2017) was torn to the front from the first days of war. But at first there was the Moscow Komsomol and youth regiment of air defense and reflection of consequences of bombings of Luftwaffe, and with them and the first contusion. Then fights as a part of the 4th Moscow division of a national militia, defense of Troitse-Lykovo. In February near Rzhev it was again contused and after treatment it is sent to Pukhovichsky military infantry college. To summer of 1944 Yevdokimov Vladimir was the senior lieutenant, the commander of a company of the 294th shooting regiment of the 184th shooting division as a part of the 5th army.
