On August 27, 2000 there was one of the largest technogenic accidents in the history of modern Russian Federation. On the Ostankino tower in Moscow there was a fire, to consult with which it was not possible for days. During this time building almost failed on the earth: more than a half of the steel cables supporting the concrete basis, burst from high temperature.
