A red bat who was not known earlier to science, scientists in West Africa found. Also at a color of an animal there is a black color. The look received the name Myotis nimbaensis. It lives in mountains County of Nimba in West Africa. For the first time the red bat met the scientist in 2018, and in 2021 experts submitted her description. Myotis nimbaensis has orange fur with black two-color pigmentation of wings. It lives in natural caves and adits in a massif County of Nimba. The diet of this look is at present unknown.
