Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov brought Russian Federation the gold of the championship Europe in ice dance

The Russian dancing duet Victoria Sinitsina – Nikita Katsalapov won the championship Europe on figure skating in the Austrian Graz. This victory became for Russian Federation the first in seven years in ice dance. Earlier gold of the championship Europe took Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitry Solovyev in a season-2012/13. After that once was won by Italians  Anna Kappellini and Luca Lanotte and five time in a row – French Gabriela Papadakis and Guillaume Sizeron. The French duet lost for the first time with Olimpidy-2018 where they were outstripped by Canadians Tessa Virtyyu and Scott Moir.
