The island Pacific state of Palau became the first-ever country which has officially forbidden use in the territory of sun-protection creams. Since January 1, 2020 in Palau it is forbidden to sell and apply the cosmetics containing any of ten widespread ingredients, including oksibenzon and oktinoksat.
