The Russian athletes became owners of seven gold medals in the first day Sambo World Cup in South Korean Cheongju. Champions in man's sambo became Igor Beglerov (to 52 kg) and Ryabov Sergei (to 90 kg), in female — Bondareva Helena (to 48 kg), Mitina Olga (to 60 kg) and Khomyachkova Anastasia (to 72 kg).
