The secretary general OPEC Mokhammed Sanusi Barkindo declared that world consumption of oil will reach 100 million barrels per day later this year, "much earlier", than was predicted earlier. About it reports information agency "Reuters".

"The world will reach a point of consumption of 100 million barrels a day later this year, much earlier, than all of us predicted earlier. Therefore stabilizing forces which create conditions for attraction of investments" are necessary, - told Mokhammed Sanusi Barkindo at power conference in Cape Town (South Africa).

It noted that the trust in oil industry starts coming back and that OPEC studies ways of a further institutionalization of the declaration on cooperation in the field of oil production between OPEC and the producers of oil who are not entering into cartel.

"Further priority... will consist in ensuring preservation of stability, distribution of trust to branches and creating favorable conditions for return of investments", - told Mokhammed Sanusi Barkindo. the Secretary general OPEC expects

that global trade disputes eventually will strike on demand for energy, however hopes that "the uncertainty cloud" will disappear soon.

"Trade disputes which arise between some of leading partners in the world, eventually will damage to growth of [world economy] and, as a result, demand for energy", - told Mokhammed Sanusi Barkindo to journalists. "But we are sure by

that... these parties will be able to overcome some of these problems, - he added. - We hope that we will be able to overcome this cloud of uncertainty concerning trades as soon as possible to soften negative consequences".
