a task for development of the project of restoration of the state biological museum of K.A. Timiryazev on Malaya Gruzinskaya Street. Carrying out restoration works" becomes the following step after development of the project, - is spoken in the message.

Since the end of the XIX century possession on Malaya Gruzinskaya Street belonged to the known collector of the Russian old times Shchukin Petr. It built a complex of buildings in the neorussian style according to the project of the architect Boris Freydenberg. But for all collections of a place all the same did not suffice, and then Shchukin Petr ordered to the architect Erikhson Adolf one more house – "The new museum" where translated library and art gallery.

Building of the biological museum of name K.A. Timiryazeva, located at the address: Malaya Gruzinskaya Street, house 15, structure 1, is in the register of objects of a cultural heritage under the name "The new museum, 1896, the architect Erikhson A. E..

Department of Cultural Heritage of the city of Moscow supported the initiative of restoration of this building. In response to inquiry of the museum department gave out a task for development of scientific project documentation.

"I think that this fantastic building similar to a tower in the neorussian style, is familiar to each Muscovite. Carefully prepared scientific project of restoration is necessary for carrying out competent works on its preservation. We will control it", - the head of Department of Cultural Heritage of the city of Moscow Aleksey Aleksandrovich Yemelyanov told.

He noted that for development of scientific project documentation will conduct bibliographic and historical and archival researches, will study technical features of the building, will describe future architectural and constructive concepts. In the project will present the list of actions for ensuring fire safety, and also other sections provided by the legislation.

Permission to carrying out works will give out after development of the project of restoration and its coordination with Mosgornasledy.
