More than 70 thousand people suffered in Thailand as a result of the floods caused by heavy rains. As the newspaper reported on Sunday Newspaper "Bangkok Post" , the elements mentioned nine northeast provinces of the country, among which Province of Nakhon Phanom, Province of Mukdahan, Amnat Charoyen, Ubon Ratchatkhani, Province of Bungkan, Sakon Nakhon, Roy Et, Province of Kalasin and Province of Yasothon.

according to the edition, most of all suffered Province of Nakhon Phanom where water left river banks Mekong, having flooded 12 areas. As a result 12,2 thousand house farms and 26,8 thousand people suffered. Flooded there were 28,7 thousand hectares.

11,4 thousand farms (4,5 thousand hectares) appeared

To the neighboring Province of Mukdahan in water and 38,3 thousand people suffered. The flood in Ubon Ratchatkhani affected 4,1 thousand people and 773 hectares of lands, and in the province Amnat Charoyen 1,9 thousand people and 887 hectares suffered.

At the same time the meteorological bureau predicts

from August 5 to August 9 strong heavy rains in the North and the northeast of the kingdom.
