Children got acquainted with national culture and customs, looked at the city and visited amusement parks

Eight children from Artem with support of administration of the district participated in the First youth cultural and educational forum "Day of Russian" which took place in Seoul. In five days they managed to get acquainted with national culture and customs, to improve skills of a foreign language, to get acquainted with the city and to visit amusement parks, reported regional news agency "PrimaMedia" in the press service City administration Artem.

At the meeting which has taken place in City administration, gathered school students and their parents to discuss trip results together with the head of the district Avdeev Alexander.

Pupils of the Seoul school met artemovets very friendly." Children sang for us the song "Million Scarlet Roses" in Russian, showed the skills in taekwondo, conducted tour on school. The Seoul school students very much were interested in Russian cuisine, and for us prepared a master class on preparation of national Korean dishes — the schoolgirl of the 11th class of school No. 17 Sulitskaya Varvara tells. — We communicated generally in English. I am very glad that could go, get acquainted with culture and a life of South Korea and to get many friends".

Administration of the city district Artemovsk plans to develop further this program that also other children who have caused a stir in study could visit South Korea. As Avdeev Alexander noted, similar trips create fine opportunity for rest, finding of new friends and expansion of an outlook of pupils, help to develop good-neighbourhood between our countries.

the Result of a forum became the memorandum of understanding between the Seoul special school of foreign languages and AGO administration. Both parties plan to continue cooperation in the field of culture, art and traditional sports.
