Kinshasa, 20 July/Xinhua / - At least 16 people were lost as a result of vessel crash on the river Congo in the city of Kisangani of Province of Tshopo in the northeast of Democratic Republic of Congo. The governor of the province reported today about it.

As the correspondent told information agency "Sinkhua" the governor of Province of Tshopo to Jean Ilongo Tokole, more than 100 people survived, and 34 persons remain missing persons.

Crash happened in 200 km from Kisangani. On the vessel, transporting at the night of passengers and goods from Lukutu to Kisangani, were not included lighting.
