On Friday, July 20, during the next meeting of Regional duma of Tambov a rank of the Honourable citizen Tambov Region for merits in social and economic development the region was appropriated to director general "The union of the Tambov builders" to Anatoly Mikhaylovich Safonov. Anatoly Mikhaylovich Safonov was born on August 1, 1943 in Rostov-on to Don. In 1970 graduated from FEDERAL STATE-FUNDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION FOREIGN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION "VORONEZHSKY STATE ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION UNIVERSITY", VORONEZH STATE ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION UNIVERSITY, FEDERAL STATE-FUNDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION FOREIGN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION "VORONEZHSKY STATE ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION UNIVERSITY", and in the 1983rd – the Rostov Higher party school. From 1987 to 1989 – Anatoly Mikhaylovich Safonov worked as the chairman of executive committee of the Tambov city council, from 1989 to 1991 held a position of the secretary of the Tambov city town committee of CPSU. In different years it worked as the chairman of the Tambov city council of People's Deputies, the deputy, the head of committee, the vice-chairman of Regional duma of Tambov. It was awarded the order "Honour", a medal of the award "For Merits before the Fatherland of the II Degree".
