Fetisov Victor worked with in group of the sculptors invited by the national artist of the USSR by Vuchetich Eugenie for work on Mamayev Kurgan: young then the sculptor was proud of that to him happened to work on creation of a world renowned historical and memorial complex "Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad". His own words were a keynote of his creativity: "I want to sing of courage and beauty of the person strong". From the very beginning of independent professional activity the subject of a feat and heroism became for it the leader. At once the favourite genre — a portrait was defined also. In gallery of portraits of known people Russian Federation — the sniper Zaytsev Vasilii, the marshal Zhukov Georgy, the legendary pilot Maresyev Aleksey, Koroleva Gulya, Kosmodemyanskaya Zoe, national actors Pavel Serebryakov, Serov Edouard, Raykin Arkady, Stanislas Govorukhin, the writer Bondarev Youri, the poetess Agashina Margaret and many others.
last year Fetisov Victor was widely presented to in showroom of the Volgograd museum of the fine arts of I.I. Mashkov at an anniversary personal exhibition the master dated for the 80 anniversary of the author. To expositions it was presented about 200 exhibits including a sculpture, painting, photos, projects and sketches.
