INTERFAX the NORTHWEST - at the initiative of Russian Federation in the current year in Pechengsky district Murmansk Region is planned to create the international ecological center of the countries of the Barents/Euro-Arctic region (BEAR), the cochairman of Ecological chamber reported to information agency "Interfaks" on Wednesday Russian Federation Petrov Vadim.
According to him, the center becomes structure which will provide cooperation in the ecological direction for various organizations. The idea of creation of the center belongs to the consul general Russian Federation in Kirkenes to Shatunovsky Sergei - Byurno.
"We know that the ecological subject is rather politized, positive system work is conducted very badly (...) Actually, the idea of creation of the international ecological center is a science, NPO cooperation, public diplomacy of four countries of the Barents region, the resource center of development green business", - Petrov Vadim noted.
Initiators of creation of an ecocenter believe that it is necessary to adjust an exchange of experience with colleagues from BEAR countries. Agreements on cooperation are already reached with the Norwegian ecologists. First of all, they will share materials on which to Norway get an ecological education, Petrov Vadim emphasized. Also Norwegians will share the experience in the sphere of "green" business.

One more area of work becomes distribution of correct and objective information on a condition of ecology to BEAR. For this reason in plans to revive earlier existing educational ecological courses for journalists.
