The May Day became related with Finns

took place on June 01, 2018, on truth, a historical international event – in Kangasala mayors and representatives of administrative facilities of two settlements – MO "May Day Rural Settlement" and Kangasala met.

the May Day settlement presented the head of MO "May Day Rural Settlement" Kurnosov Vladimir Mikhaylovich and the head of administration Tishchenkov Sergei Ivanovich. The Finnish party was represented by the mayor of Kangasala Oskari Auvinen.

the Result of this meeting became signing of bilateral Contracts on establishment of contacts between two made related municipalities – between municipal education Kangasala (Finland) and municipal education "The May Day rural settlement" Vyborgsky rayon Leningrad Region.

Thus, long-term friendly relations between inhabitants of Kangasala and the settlement May Day got the lawful basis for continuation of communication of two friendly people – Finns and Russians.

This friendship was tied by strong knot in far ninetieth years when Finns began to visit settlements Vyborgsky rayon with nostalgic rounds.

B one of such visits to the settlement May Day there arrived the former inhabitants of the Finnish district of Kivennap which main part lives in Kangasala. Here Kivennap's community has the residence for holding regular meetings, the museum telling about its history, people, about life in Kivennap and resettlement to Kangasala. Here pass the main holidays and meetings of members of a community. Since 1990 the community organized regular trips to Russian Federation, in those places where passed the childhood and youth of them much them. In one of such visits acquaintance of Finns to authorities of the May Day settlement and employees of Palace of culture took place.

This first meeting is memorable that already in a year, with direct participation of the head of May Day village council, directors of poultry farm Valery Pavlovich Goryachev and employees of Palace of culture, the first joint holiday with participation of creative collectives, musicians, artists and handicraftsmen from the settlement of the May Day and Kangasala was organized and spent.

Friendly relations between two people were strengthened by relations every year. Kivennap's Finnish community began to invite the Russian friends to community holidays which pass regularly to Finland. But Finns tried to organize community anniversaries, after all, in Pervomaisk. In twenty seven years in the territory of the May Day settlement passed four Finnish holidays.

for August 5, 2018. This holiday will take place already within the signed Contracts between two made related municipalities.

Within Contracts Kurnosov Vladimir Mikhaylovich, Tishchenkov Sergei Ivanovich and Oskari Auvinen cooperation questions in the field of culture, social services, sports discussed, arts, educations and tourism.

Partnership will be based on the principles of trust and equal partnership, being guided by the national legislation, the right of EU and conditions of the signed Contracts.
