In the State museum of architecture of name A.V opens. Shchuseva opens exhibition "Ruin's installation / the Jurassic city" the Swiss artist Reto Emkh.
the Artist creates the installation combining real and artificial ruins in the Museum of architecture of name A.V. Shchuseva. It places emphasis on acoustics and thus builds visual images for creation of illusion of return to the past.
"Ruin's" Installation is part of the big project of Reto Emkh "Jurassic city". A series of the pictures created in 2000-2018, the artist urges to look in a new way at city landscapes worldwide — from Moscow to Canton of Solothurn, the hometown of the artist at a foot of the Jurassic mountains (Jura) in Switzerland.
the Exhibition will take place from April 25 to May 20, 2018.

Reto Emkh was born in 1961 in Switzerland, in Solothurn. After leaving school studied the photo, then some years worked in Archaeological management Canton of Solothurn. From 1986 to 1991 assisted Jean Tengli in construction of the well-known kinetic sculptures. Reto Emkh's installations were presented in the museums of Basel, Bern, Turin, Venice, Paris and Moscow. The main spheres of creativity of the artist are installation, a sculpture, painting and fotografiya.
