Sudan and Kenya expressed readiness to intensify bilateral cooperation

Khartoum, 10 April/Xinhua / - Senior representatives of the governments Sudan and Kenya on Monday hoped for strengthening of the bilateral relations, first of all for activization of mutual cooperation in economic area.

the First vice-president Sudan Bakri Hassan Salekh held on Monday negotiations with the vice-president who has arrived on a visit Kenya William Samozi Ruto.

Bakri Hassan Salekh declared that Sudan and Kenya will make joint efforts for strengthening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and diversification of spheres of cooperation on the basis of respect of common interests of two states. Having expressed concern in continuously worsening situation in South Sudan, he urged the African countries to intensify cooperation and to counteract problems which the people South Sudan face.

William Samozi Ruto noted that Kenya always makes active efforts on an achievement of peace and stability in the region of the Horn of Africa, hopes that will make the contribution to world implementation to Somalia and South Sudan.

William Samozi Ruto on Monday arrived to Khartoum, having begun three-day official visit to Sudan. During visit it will meet the president Sudan Omar al-Bashir, and also will visit the relevant departments and objects of developments.
