Among the cars found in the same garage Ferrari 308 GT4, Jaguar E-type Series I and one of the Wolseley models also are registered, writes AutoClassics.
of Found Jaguar XK140 — is the car about S 814 286 chassis number. Initially the compartment was painted in cream color, had a rigid roof and trimmed with two shades blue salon. In 1957 the car had an accident after which it needed full replacement of a body.
According to historical records, the car received a new body in 1960 or 1961. In addition, it equipped with a head of the block of cylinders and a lateral exhaust from racing Jaguar S-Type.
Later a dvukhdverka it was at the British seller of classical cars Lengton Stephen who sold it to the collector of unique "Jaguars" Urban Roland. The last owner — the Belgian collector Mr. Shepens — got a compartment in 1999. It planned to restore the car, but died before the car started preparing for painting.
Jaguar will expose at auction to Monaco on May 13 the current year. For it plan to gain from 10 to 20 thousand euros (740 thousand — 1,5 million rubles).
