At women on 5 kilometers the gold medal was won by the Belarusian Seronosova Paulina. Its result made 13 minutes 5,6 seconds. The resident of Monchegorsk Belaya Anna – 14.19,5 became the silver prize-winner. Bronze – other representatives of the city of metallurgists, the double vice-champion of Russia Vlasova Anastasia – 14.39,7.
At men at a 10-kilometer distance ascended to the highest step of a podium Semenov Mikhail from Belarus – 25.23,2. On the second – his team mate Astapenko Youri – 25.04,29. On the third – the resident of Severodvinsk Sosnin Vasilii – 26.01,7.
Ahead of participants wait two 50-kilometer marathons. They will pass already for the 45th time. More than one and a half thousand athletes from different corners of Russia, and also Belarus, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Austria, the USA will take part in them, Australia and other states.
On Saturday, on March 31 , will take place race by free style. March kids which will begin in 10.40 will precede it. Pupils of kindergartens will overcome the 200 meters. Then to 11.00 a marathon distance will go to submit athletes among whom there will be Olympic champions Bogaly Anna, Zaytseva Olga and the world champion Petukhov Aleksey.
