Because of a heavy snowfall and unpeeled roads to some settlements of Republic of Karelia cannot be passed

For cleaning of snow there are no cars, work will require time. The authorities ask locals to limit whenever possible use personal transports not to interfere with work of equipment and not to get to snow drifts.
At present in Belomorsk district snow cut off 10 settlements. In Segezha district and Muezersky district the mode of the increased readiness is entered. In Segezha district the road equipment clears away a way to the settlement of Valdai, in Muezersky district way to three settlements is paved. On only federal highways, passing through the territory of the republic, 101 pieces of equipment work. On regional roads in Segezha district – 18 units, in Belomorsk – 12, in Muyezerskom – 5 units. During meeting the decision on a transfer to these regions of additional equipment from other regions of Republic of Karelia is made.
