On November 11, 2014 the plenipotentiary ambassador France to Armenia Sharpantye Zhan-Fransua handed over the credentials to the president of RA Serzh Sargsyan. On December 1, 2011 Vardan Sirmakesh was appointed the chief consul of Armenia in Marseille. On May 30, 2013 Nicholas Sarkisov was appointed the chief consul of Armenia in Lyon.
