the National team Russian Federation took the second place on "Tournament of four nations", passing in the Iranian Esfahan. On start Skorovich Sergei drew with Kazakhstan – 3:3 (2:1). Then got the best of Azerbaidjan – 4:3 (2:0). And at last, in decisive fight, having passed two goals in empty gate in an ending, conceded to Iran – 0:4 (0:1). Three balls at Russians Lyskov Dimitri carried out, two – Niyazov Artem, on one – Abramov Sergei and Milovanov Yvan.

Specially for newspaper "Moskovskaya pravda" results of tournament the Honoured Master of Sports, the vice-champion commented on Europe 1996 Zakerov Nail:

— By and large, it is very useful tournament for the national team which helped to check once again itself at such good level. Strong teams were collected and if to look by results, a draw or victories with the minimum account most often were born. That is there was nobody who unambiguously would surpass the others.

Even in the lost final match our football players competently defended. Certainly, we already got used to that the national team on such tournaments wins. But here, probably, certain nuances affected. There were no the leading players acting in other championships — Robinho, Lima Eder. Caused concern the goalkeeper line. Putilov Dimitri — the good goalkeeper, but nevertheless does not suffice it that experience which Gustavo had. For some reason there was no Zamtaradze Georgy — in my opinion, he now one of the strongest goalkeepers of the country.

However, terrible in total result I do not see anything. There is time to pay attention of football players to mistakes which happened in these matches, and to correct them. Especially they were noticeable against Iran. So we hope: for Euro-2018 the national team will prove that the second place in the last year's World Cup was not accident.

On "Tournament of four nations" our children drew

with Kazakhstan citizens together with whom got to one group in the future championship Europe. Kazakhstan – good team which plays the soccer – not really pleasant for rivals, not absolutely spectacular. We were once again convinced that with such opponent it will far not be simple. There are a lot of "Kayrat's" players whom Russians repeatedly met at the level of clubs, and every time it there were difficult matches.
