At each European country the Christmas traditions. Christmas markets which extend to Italy more and more, came to the Apenninsky peninsula because of the Alps, and here dramatized (Italians them call "live") Christmas dens – purely Italian tradition besides numbering any more of one eyelids stories. About it tells ENIT.
the DRAMATIZED CHRISTMAS DEN In GREChChO
Grechcho's(Ryeti's province, Region of Lazio)
on December 24, 2017 – on January 7, 2018
One of the most known in Italy "live" Christmas dens can be seen in Grechcho in the temple Assizsky Frantsisk; this town is well-known for what here Christmas sketch for the first time was in the history arranged, it happened in 1223, and not who other, as Assizsky Frantsisk was her founder! Today representation of Christmas on Grechcho – one of the most popular in the country also includes six scenes, narrating about how Saint Assizsky Frantsisk created the first den.
All town with its medieval small streets and ancient houses turns into live scenery against which there are heroes in suits of times Assizsky Frantsisk.

the DRAMATIZED CHRISTMAS DEN In DZhENGE
of Dzhenga (the province Ancona, Region of Marche)
on December 26, 2017 and on January 6, 2018
In the town Dzhenga (Genga) it is possible to see the biggest in the world the dramatized Christmas den. It arrange in one of gorge Frazassi caves, and on the area this representation occupies about 30 thousand square meters. For the first time it was shown in 1981, and since then annually arrange on two representations during a season: On December 26 on Saint Stephano's holiday and on January 6 on 
the Annunciation.
In representation involved 300 people who recreate the sketches reminding of a life and traditions of this territory of former times. Here it is possible to see real masters: joiners, smiths, basketmakers, bakers, shoemakers, potters, sculptors, lace makers and the weavers who are going in for the craft by means of ancient tools.
the DRAMATIZED CHRISTMAS DEN In KUSTONAChI
of Kustonachi (the province of Trapani, Region of Sicily)
on December 25, 2017 – on January 7, 2018
Sicily is famous for the "live" Christmas dens, from them the most known – that inhabitants of the town Kustonachi in Borgo Skurati's town arrange. In these parts there are a lot of calcareous pits with caves in which people lodged already since a paleolith.
toIn Grott Mandzhapane's cave also arrange this live Christmas den. Borgo Skurati turns into a corner of the Holy Land, air is filled with Christmas melodies. In the representation consisting of many pictures, more than 160 people participate, and those who represents handicraftsmen of different professions, specially gather here from all Sicily. Representation is arranged 25, 26, 29, on December 30 and 5, 6, on January 7. Entrance under the tickets which are on sale in cash desks in the historical center of Kustonachchi. This town for the period of Christmas becomes similar to the fairy tale with festive illumination, torch lighting both various entertainments and entertainments. By the way, except the representation, the cost of the ticket includes journey by special bus from the historical center to a cave and back and tasting of typical local products.
the DRAMATIZED CHRISTMAS DEN In MOPKOHE
Morkone's(the province Benevento, Campaign )
As like suit on January 3-4, 2018 Region of Campania, the main town of this region, is famous for the whole world for the shops on San Gregorio Street Armeno where all the year round, even in the hot summer, sell wonderful dens of handwork both different figures and elements to them. Only imagine that is created on the Christmas eve! And in the province Benevento, in Marconnet it is possible to see one of the most known Italian Christmas representations.
This ancient town is locatedon a mountain slope therefore in itself to incredibility it is similar to a Christmas den. For this reason even officially local festive representation is called "A den in a den" and always consists of two acts. At first the audience is dipped into the refined atmosphere of the historical center of the town where before them the scenes devoted to ancient crafts are developed. Following on this Christmas route through all town eventually the audience leave it through gate of Port of San Marco, and before them the tremendous view of vicinities opens, and exactly here (at 18:00 and at 20:00) play the second part of action – Christmas sketch, since the Annunciation till Christmas and worship of magicians which appear, shined in hundred torch fires and a bright flame of the well-known torches "ndoche" from Agnone.
the DRAMATIZED CHRISTMAS DEN IN MATYORA
Matyora (Bazilikat's Region of Basilicata)
on December 8-30, 2017
it is traditional, in the period of Christmas in Matera that in the south Italy, play sketches on Christmas. Bible events are developed against streets and houses in the center of quarter by Sasso Barizano around Sassi-di-Matyora, and it is better not to find scenery. Not without reason every year to look at them there come guests from all over the world. Seven tableau vivant appear at the audience, connected with a subject of Lord's Christmas: lady day, market, demonstration of ancient crafts, Maria and Elizabeth's meeting, Herod's yard, Christ's Christmas.
of the Sketch are played in five places of quarter by Sasso Barizano (three in the buried rooms and two open-air) with use of fragments of movies about Christ's life, removed at different times in Matyora. The first representation will take place on December 8 on a holiday of Immaculate conception of Virgin Mary. Official dates of carrying out: December 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 29 and 30.
the DRAMATIZED CHRISTMAS DEN In TRIKAZE
to Trikaza (Lechche's province, Region of Apulia)
on December 25, 2017 – on January 6, 2018
One of the interesting dramatized Christmas dens can be seen to Region of Apulia, in the town Trikaz located on a tip of Italian "heel", almost by the most blue sea. As scenery for tableau Christmas vivant the picturesque landscape of these places serves: on Monte Orko's hill 35 thousand sparks shining workers as in old times of handicraftsmen and peasants light up, and against these sketches at the top of the hill the main action – the birth of the Baby Christ is developed.
to Trikaza turns into real Bethlehem and that who gets here, apparently, that they were had in not only to that far Judaic earth, but also in those far times. Representation can be seen 25, 26, 29, on December 30 and 1, 3, 5, on January 6 from 17:00 till 20:30.
the DRAMATIZED CHRISTMAS DEN In DOLYaNI
Dolyani's (Kuneo's province, Region of Piedmont)
on December 23 and 24, 2017
On the eve of Christmas, on December 23 and 24 in Dolyani's Piedmont town among Borgo Kastello's medieval back streets it is possible to see an unusual Christmas den in which 350 people – almost all inhabitants of this small town participate, they represent bible characters and simple handicraftsmen, playing household genre sketches. The peasant bargains with the merchant. Notable mister buys expensively embroidered fabric. The potter, the joiner, the basketmaker sit at work, bossing ancient tools. The smith strikes with a hammer on an anvil.
B Christmas Vifleem life boils: workshops, inns, the drying houses, poor fishing huts and mansion of rich men come to life. Bakers bake bread, in taverns spill wine, and nobody pays attention to two simply dressed passersby – the Mother of God and Saint Joseph which pass on town small streets in search of a haven. Representation is played by the light of torches and fires therefore all events find special expressiveness and spirituality.
