on November 21, Minsk / BELTA/Correspondent. Qatar is interested in development cooperation with Belarus in the field of fight against cybercrime and protection of a public law and order, reported Belarusian cable agency "Belta" in Ministries of Internal Affairs.

the Minister of Internal Affairs Belarus Igor Shunevich took part in the I Conference on safety large-scale actions which took place in the Qatar Doha. During visit to Qatar chapter Ministries of Internal Affairs met the prime minister - the Minister of Internal Affairs of this country Al Tanya's sheikh Abdulla bin Nasser al Tani.

"The parties discussed a course of implementation of the memorandum of understanding between the governments of two countries concerning cooperation in the field of safety. Also the main directions of expansion of practical interaction were defined. Igor Shunevich assured that Belarus will make all necessary efforts for deepening of mutually beneficial relations in the law-enforcement sphere, - informed in Ministries of Internal Affairs. - In turn the prime minister Qatar emphasized that interaction of two Ministries of Internal Affairs became a basis for strengthening of cooperation between the states as a whole. It expressed conviction that the partnership of two countries will be and to have further fruitful character, and also expressed interest in development such directions of cooperation, as protection of a public law and order and counteraction cybercrime".

the Two-day forum organized within preparation Qatar to the World Cup of 2022 on soccer, was held for strengthening of the international partnership in the field of ensuring safety large-scale sports events. To exchange experience more than 400 representatives of 192 states and a number of the organizations gathered. Delegates discussed questions of counteraction to modern threats of safety on big cultural and mass and sporting events, effective ways of response to an adverse operational situation, methods of elimination of sources of danger and application of modern technologies when providing a law and order.

Besides, at conference was told about the practician Qatar who for successful holding the World Cup on soccer in 2022 modernizes law-enforcement system. Also the state expands strategic partnership with many countries and the international organizations, for example, International Criminal Police Organization together with which since 2012 realizes the STADIA project calculated on ten years. The initiative is directed on formation of the international knowledge base and the best practices in area of carrying out and ensuring safety on sporting events.
