On multi-day cycle race "Dzhiro of d' Italy" took place a penultimate 20th stage which considerably aggravated fight in the top part of the table of the overall ranking. At once four racers settled down within one minute, and the Russian Zakarin Ilnur became the second at a stage and goes the fifth with lag from the 2nd place in 28 seconds.
Zakarin Ilnur by means of the Katusha-Alpecin team was one of initiators of a successful separation on a course of a 190-kilometer stage between towns Pordenone and Asiago. However, it was not succeeded to realize the plan of Russian-Swiss "stable" fully because assistants to our leader have Mamykin Matvey and Croat Robert Kisherlovski there were punctures of wheels.
Nevertheless, Zakarin Ilnur kept in the five of the best which finished with a separation in 15 sec. from the following group. Thus the Russian became the second at a stage, pass ahead of itself only the Frenchman Pino Thibaut (FDJ team). The third there arrived the Italian Nibali Vinchentso (Bahrain-Merida), the fifth – the leader of the overall ranking Colombian Nayro Quintana (Movistar).
Quintana kept a pink undershirt of the leader with a separation from the 2nd place in 39 sec. Further there are Nibali Vinchentso, Pino Thibaut, Tom Dyumolen (Netherlands, Sunweb), Zakarin Ilnur and Domenico Pozzovivo (Italy, AG2R). All of them will be for the final stage – staggered start race on 29,3 km — to apply for a podium.
