the Center of the photo of a name of brothers Lyumyer will carry out the first in Russian Federation a photobook Photobookfest festival, organizers report.

for seventeen days, from May 12 to May 28, there will take place here lectures, presentations of books, discussions and master classes of leading world photographers from from France, Germany, United Kingdom, United States of America, Hungary, Netherlands and other countries.

the Exhibition program of a festival includes the big project "the USSR builds a socialism. Masterpieces of the photobook of the 1930th years", devoted to history of the Soviet photographic editions, and the New Turn project where photobooks of modern Russian photographers from only Russian Federation, by Bogomolova Anastasiya will be submitted.

Also the first Photobookfest becomes one of platforms of a known festival of photobooks in Kassel (Germany). The director of the international forum will submit 49 books travelers which already managed to go round the half-world, and now will be in Russian Federation.
