On Wednesday, March 15, in the Ufa Museum of the Soviet life "Lookbook" of the Ural artist Bogomolova Anastasiya – the unique project uniting photos, collages on the Soviet cosmetics and clothes, experiments with fabrics and the real dresses will open. According to the artist, to creation of a collection she was pushed by desire "to glance in an old cosmetics bag to find there mother's lipstick, shadows and blush which it used, the little being more senior than me today's. At random to pull out from the storeroom a suitcase with footwear and to find there pair of its scarce Yugoslavian shoes. To stir a heap of boxes in a family shed to find all former clothes, the multi-colored dresses acquired once in the Soviet department store... "

As are considered by the artist, experiments with old clothes and its elements allow visitors of an exhibition not only to return to the childhood when girls tried on things of seniors, but also to remember "the first ideas of beauty", created of old fashion magazines. "I become in front of the mirror, wishing to recollect images of all women of my family to understand with what they saw the body, the sexuality. I repeat this ritual again and again, recognizing own transformation into the adult woman and at the same time rejecting it, having been frightened of these changes".

Bogomolova Anastasiya was born in Kazakhstan, it is the author of photobooks, the researcher, the collector and the lecturer, works with the photo, installations and performatory practicians. Its works were presented on numerous biennials and festivals in Moscow, Italy, China, United States of America, India, Belarus. Personal exhibitions took place Bogomolova Anastasiya and the cities of Ural. At exhibition opening in Ufa she will tell and about other projects.

of "Lookbook" will open at 19 o'clock on March 15 in the Ufa Museum of the Soviet life on the second floor of Gostiny dvor. The exhibition will last month and will be closed on April 15.
