Irkutsk region, NIA-Baikal — To Irkutsk region is approved the program of holding the championship and superiority Siberian Federal District on track and field athletics among youth till 23 years, juniors till 20 years, young men and girls till 18 years. Tournament will take place on January 14 and 15 in a track and field athletics arena of sport center "Baikal Arena" in Irkutsk.
In the first day, on January 14, athletes will compete from 10:00 till 11:30 in sports walking on 5000 meters, in run on 60 meters with barriers, and also men — in pole vaults, and women — in high jumps. The ceremonial opening will take place at 11:45. Then competitions in the following disciplines will proceed: run on 60, 400, 800, 1500 meters, on 2000 meters with obstacles, shot put, long jumps and height, and also women will compete in pole vaults. In competitions among women the finals is planned to carry out in run on 60 meters with barriers — at 14:00, on 60 meters — at 14:50, on 1500 meters — at 16:20, on 400 — at 17:10, in run on 2000 meters with obstacles — at 19:05. In competitions among men the finals will pass in run on 60 meters — at 15:20, on 60 meters with barriers — at 15:35, on 1500 meters — at 16:35, on 400 meters — at 17:50, on 2000 meters with obstacles — at 19:20.
In the second day, on January 15, competitions among men will begin at 10:00, among women — at 11:00. Athletes will compete in a triple jump, relay 4×200 meters. The finals among women will pass in run on 800 meters — at 13:00, on 200 meters — at 14:00, on 3000 meters — at 14:40. The finals among men are planned in run for 800 meters — at 13:30, for 200 meters — at 14:20, on 3000 — at 15:15.
As are reported by the press service MINISTRY SPORTS IRKUTSK REGION, Siberian Federal District will participate in the championship and superiority of more than 570 strongest athletes from 12 regions of Siberia. Irkutsk region on tournament 150 athletes from Irkutsk will represent, Bratsk, Sayansk, Usolye-Sibirskoye, Angarsk, Tulun, Winters, the settlement Chunsky and other municipalities. It is expected br that in competitions prize-winners of superiority Russian Federation will take part in pole vaults Nikonova Valeria and Klyuzheva Nina. Besides, such known athletes will participate in competitions, as Bolsun Helena, Konovalova Marina, Kirichenko Irina, Kulik Nikita, Lyuboslavsky Anton and many others.
