Started doing swimming with the childhood, and Russian Federation on synchronized swimming it was included into structure of a national team in 2005. And the same year in the World Cup in Montreal at once won two gold medals (in group and in a combination), and in a year the sportswoman became also the champion in the same disciplines.
first Olympic "gold" it won p in 2008 at the XXIX summer Games in Beijing. In group exercises on synchronized swimming (together with Yermakova Anastasiya, Davydova Anastasiya, Ishchenko Natalia, Olga Kuzhela, Shorina Anna, Khasyanova Elvire and Gromova Maria) Romashina Svetlana deservedly won a gold medal, having struck judges and the audience with the magnificent program of performance. Still twice she became the Olympic champion – both times at the XXX summer Games in London in 2012 where again won a gold medal in group performance of the Russian synchro swimmers, and also together with Ishchenko Natalia took "gold" in performances of duets.
By the way, Romashina Svetlana and Ishchenko Natalia became only in the national team Russian Federation who won at the London Olympic Games at once two gold medals. During the interolympic period the sportswoman spoke and at other international competitions. After leaving Ishchenko Natalia from sports in 2012 the partner Romashina Svetlana in a duet became Kolesnichenko Svetlana (till 2014), and today she acts again about Ishchenko Natalia. Thus Romashina Svetlana act not only in a duet, but also solo, and in group.
Among recent victories of the sportswoman – two gold medals on the World summer university games to Kazan which took place in July, 2013. The Russian synchro swimmers for the first time represented our country at these competitions as synchronized swimming was included for the first time in the University games program. Romashina Svetlana represented Moskovsky state university named after M. V. Lomonosova, Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosova, Moskovsky university or Moscow State University economy, statisticians and informatics, being his student. And also – three gold medals in the World Cup of 2015 which also took place to Kazan.
At 2016 Summer Olympics the years, passing in Rio de Janeiro, the sportswoman won two more Olympic gold – one in competitions of duets (together with Ishchenko Natalia), and the second – in group performance of the Russian synchro swimmers.
Now Romashina Svetlana lives in Moscow and continues the sports career.
