Then the festival was on the verge of closing, tried to move to other region and even got the alternative twin brother with the name on the contrary . But as a result the capital Latvia became for KUBANA that platform where it appeared really and to start comfortably everything anew.
"In 2015 the festival moved not simply from one platform to another, and to other country! – the mayor reminded at a press conference Riga Ushakov Neal. – But, despite it, the festival turned out. Also it turned out very well. Everything was top-level. For the objective reasons, there was no sufficient number of the audience. But there were such interesting performers who it is not known when would appear in our city. It is very pleasant. It is good advertizing to the city".
Meanwhile, in Riga there are a lot of festivals, and certainly, first KUBANA was perceived as such "the Russian festival for Russians". The producer of a festival Ostrovsky Ilya always emphasizes that would not like such estimates.
"We – not a festival only for Russians. No way! — he speaks. — We are open for all. Simply, probably, KUBANA could not exist to Russian Federation. We — difficult teenagers, do not look for easy ways. But for me it is important that we remain by itself".

If participants of the very first KUBANA the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian musicians became such, already in a couple of years it there was such international structure that was hardly believed that all this occurs to Russian Federation. A year ago the Riga KUBANA met HIM and D12, Animal Dzhaz and Leningrad group on which performance there came the mayor. "For me initially KUBANA was such, as a matter of fact, live disco on the sea — Ostrovsky Ilya explains. – Disco in which alternately play The Prodigy, "Flying gait", something else. People dance under everything. And I thought – why would be not present why not to diversify our rock'n'roll structure with any such unusual number. In 2011 we called Boyarsky Mikhail. And it was the phenomenal success. Then to us came Antonov Youri, Leontyev Valery, Leshchenko Leo. And that is important – it was pleasant to all. Actors who usually act in sedentary halls with clapping ladies, I think, long ago did not see among the public of such number of squealing girls in bathing suits. Dancing island
not to irritate the people far from music and midnight parties, the Riga KUBANA lodged on Lutsavsal's island. according to organizers, in 4 days a festival were visited by 17 600 people, it is 20 percent more, than were on KUBANA-2015. Protected such crowd of only 40 police officers.

But it is "terrible" — it at all about the Riga KUBANA festival. Unlike many similar actions, with double cordons, the most severe examination and buses with OMON, on all this Lutsavsal's island was not. In a priority there was after all a music and freedom. One of the ambiguous moments of a festival – the price. The ticket for one any day of KUBANA cost 14,99 euro, on all 4 days could be got the subscription for 49,99. By words Ostrovsky Ilya, price more than humane. And organizers held such anti-recessionary price up to the festival. In days of carrying out KUBANA subscriptions rose in price, but only some categories. However, despite it, the many people were observed by all this shows because of a fence. It, generally, not strongly upset them as, to hear each sound from such distance was not a problem.
Addicts of a scene
the Slogan – "Festivals is a lot of p — KUBANA one" — does not say lies: it is possible to understand in general nothing in punk music, not to know more than a half of participants, but to be delighted with this action. Simply because everything is very sincere – beginning from press conferences at which there are no inconvenient questions, finishing infinite acquaintances and the music.
"Simply we are addicts of a scene — the soloist of "Cries Vidoplyasova" Skripka Oleg explains. – To sell to people any poison and simply to make good money. To be honest, brightened up, to bury in a dugout or simply to go to Tibet too. And here to be honest in society and thus to make good money – here it difficult. But it is interesting".
From the events are blissed out also by actors. The same Skripka Oleg with pleasure climbs highly over public on scene designs, and children from Eskimo Callboy in waste throw a microphone in which, of course, right there all start shouting not the voices in crowd.
