The Kazakhstan weight-lifter Nizhat Rakhimov who won the first gold medal 2016 Summer Olympics for Kasakhstan and has established "6" new world record in weight category to 77 kilograms, shared impressions of the vystuleniye, the correspondent of Today.kz reports.
"I cried because presented, how many work I enclosed – trained since the childhood. Remembered some trainings and could not constrain itself. I cannot tell that was sure that I will lift 214 kilograms, I trained and was ready, but at the same time doubted a little. I told the trainer that the first approach – the medal, to the second – victorious, the third approach me it is not necessary", – Nizhat Rakhimov told.
Thus the weight-lifter noted that 217 kilograms were the biggest weight in his life.
Rakhimov thanked trainers and everything who gave it support.
"This work – it not only mine. They to me helped to become the Olympic champion, it many thanks! Still many thanks to Kazakhstan citizens for support. When came to a scaffold, I heard them. Felt support of those people who watched competitions on TV, to them too many thanks! I love all of you! " – Rakhimov added.
Let's remind, the Kazakhstan weight-lifter Nizhat Rakhimov acting in weight category to 77 kilograms, brought to Kasakhstan the first gold medal 2016 Summer Olympics. He won with total result in 379 kilograms and by that established a new world record. The second place was taken by the winner of OI-2012 the Chinese Syaotszyun Lyuy. On the sum it also gained 379 kilograms, but became the second because of bigger personal weight. Mokhammed Makhmud from Egypt – 361 kilograms became the third.
All at present at the Kazakhstan national team seven medals: two "gold" - Rakhimova and the swimmer Balandin Dimitri, two silver medals - the judoist Smetov Yeldos and the weight-lifter Zhazira Zhapparkul, and also three bronze awards – judoists Otgontsetseg Galbadrakh and Farkhad Harki's weight-lifters and Goricheva Karina. For today Kasakhstan takes the 11th place in medal offset of 2016 Summer Olympics.
