15-year-old Leytane won gold at the European cup stage on a thriathlon

Foto: Daniela Leitane, triatlons In the Lithuanian Kupishkis at the European cup stage on a thriathlon first place among juniors was won by the Latvian sportswoman Daniela Leytane, the Federation of a thriathlon of Latvia reports.

Girls juniors competed in Lithuania at a sprint distance which included — swimming of 750 meters, 20 km by bicycle and 5-kilometer running. In the competition of 19 participants from six countries of the best there was one of the most young participants — 15-year-old Daniela Leytane from Latvia.

In competition of juniors the best result from representatives of Latvia accepted Saveli Sukharzhevsky who has taken the 17th place in the competition of 36 participants from nine countries.

on July 24 within already traditional Riga Thriathlon also there will pass also the European cup stage among juniors.
