Zewlakow: could not agree with Cherchesov concerning future "Legiya"

"Legiya's" Sports director Michaê úewêakow commented on parting with the head coach of team Stanislav Cherchesov. Earlier it became known that the parties could not agree about agreement extension in connection with divergences on key questions of club development in the next years.

"We could not reach the agreement on questions which have paramount importance for "Legiya's" development in the next years. When in 2015 Cherchesov passed into our club, we set to it the specific task – to win the championship of Poland. Then we agreed that upon termination of a season we will discuss results and we will talk about the club future. Cherchesov and team did a great job for which we are very grateful to them.
