"Legiya" declared parting with the head coach of the team Stanislav Cherchesov . The situation was commented by the sports director of club Michaê úewêakow.
"We could not agree upon questions which have paramount importance for club development in the near future. When Cherchesov came to us in October of last year, we set a specific task - to win the championship of Poland. However we also concluded the gentleman's agreement that irrespective of performance of this purpose in the season end we will sit down and we will talk about future vectors of development of club.
Time showed that we have a different vision on "Legiya's" future. And it is normal. We leave feeling of mutual respect. We wish to Cherchesov progress in further career. Warsaw never will forget your professional approach and a gold double to which you led team".
Cherchesov headed em "Legiya" in October of last year. The Russian expert managed to win during the first season the championship and the Cup of Poland .
