"Would call on collecting, would not finish career now"
— Everything occurred because of a trauma which disturbed me in last season. In May, 2015 I passed a rehabilitation course which was necessary by preparation for a new season, but there was an aggravation a bit later – I had to be restored anew. I will tell honestly, all this season was for me torture. As a result I did not gather a form. Certainly, it seriously affected my decision on completion of career.
— I remember recent "The final of four" championship of Russia. Even it was from outside well visible as you worried because, probably, the last games in career take place in the basic not on a platform, and in a square for the spare.
— Endured — it not that word. For me it is the small tragedy. I perfectly understood that, probably, despite existence of offers, for me it is the last game. It was very offensive.
— preparatory collecting our national team begins on May 20 br. You there will not be, but I know that initially Ekaterina Gamova was present at the list.
— Yes, was. And there was all so: the head coach of Russian national team Yury Marichev called and told that while is decided not to call me on the first collecting – it is connected with not the best form which I had throughout all season. In this sense no opening for me existed. Yes, it was told that can cause and it is necessary to prepare. But I made the decision.
— But if called right now on collecting, you would not hurry?
— Certainly. If went on the first collecting, would not began to declare completion of career right now.
"The decision on leaving it is heavy to br to accept"
— Passed already any time after the announcement. What now emotions? Quite positive – grief I do not feel a voice.
— Certainly, it is the difficult moment. The most part of my life passed in volleyball, and to make the decision on leaving — it very heavy, very sadly. But when internally you took this step, releases, with ease go further. With a positive you look forward. You wait for something interesting.

— It is fine when you are adult, and at you ahead something new and interesting. You have a mass of emotions which you did not test earlier. It is healthy.
— 20 years in volleyball. Whether it is possible to comprehend now in general everything, what happened to you in volleyball?
— I do not think. As my spouse speaks, you up to the end do not understand how actually people treat you. Yes, I really do not understand it. I simply trained, played, I had victories and defeats. It is enormous part of my life, and to comprehend it now — a difficult task. Probably, years later it happens.
"Rada that it was succeeded to see legendary Cuba"
— for many years you were the leader of Russian national team, and on the first tournament went accredited by the trainer. Tell? — In 1998 I passed b with br into "Uralochka" and supported a youth team "Malachite" which also was youth Russian national team. I perfectly remember how after the next victory Nikolay Vasilyevich Karpol told that I am encouraged with a trip on the World Cup. I went, and is valid on accreditation of the trainer, instead of the player. It was opportunity to touch the world of big volleyball. Impressions was much, especially because of that that I saw the legendary national team of Cuba.

— But I trained ( laughs ), and at the games – yes, hung out. It was very interesting.

— I do not want to go to Brazil. The Olympic Games — it is very global, it not only volleyball. It is a great lot of sporting events. There is a wish to look at a lot of things therefore it is better on the TV (to smiles ).
