Germany beat Slovakia on the World Ice Hockey Championship

the First victory on a group round of the World Ice Hockey Championship of 2016 was won by German national team.

on May 10 in a match of group B which accepts St. Petersburg, the team of Germany beat the national team of Slovakia — 5:1 (0:1, 3:0, 2:0). At Germans washers Patrick Hager, Filip Gogulla, Patrick Rhymer (in the majority), Brooks Matsek and Dominique Kaun caused a stir.

After the fourth passed washer the goalkeeper of Slovaks Branislav Conrad gave way in gate to Julius Gudatschek.

For Slovaks this first defeat in the championship, earlier they beat Hungary (4:1) and France (5:1). Germany in starting matches lost to France (2:3, on bullets) and Finland (1:5).

on May 11 the national team of Slovakia will play a match against team of Belarus which after three matches has no points, and German national team will meet on May 12 Canada.
